Governors of 16 Provinces Changed: Official Gazette Decision – Last Minute News from Türkiye
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made the decision to appoint new governors in 16 provinces, as announced in a recent publication.
The following governors have been removed from their positions: Kırşehir Governor Hüdayar Mete Buhara, Bolu Governor Erkan Kılıç, Amasya Governor Yılmaz Doruk, Bitlis Governor Erol Karaömeroğlu, Burdur Governor Türker Öksüz, Karaman Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim, Çorum Governor Zülkif Dağlı, Sakarya Governor Yaşar Karadeniz, Gümüşhane Governor Alper Tanrısever, Artvin Governor Cengiz Ünsal, Manisa Governor Enver Ünsal, and Şırnak Governor Cevdet Atay. They have been dismissed and appointed as Governor-Chief Civil Inspectors.
New governors have been appointed to the vacated positions:
– Konya Governor Vahdettin Özkan to Manisa Governorship
– Kırklareli Governor Birol Ekici to Şırnak Governorship
– Uşak Governor Turan Ergün to the Artvin Governorship
– Isparta Governor Aydın Baruş to Gümüşhane Governorship
In addition to these changes, various officials have been reassigned to new governorships in different provinces. The new appointments aim to bring a fresh perspective and approach to the administration of these provinces.
