Guarantee Fund Empowers Women Entrepreneurs with over 602 Million Soms in Loans

Since the beginning of the year, the Guarantee Fund has been instrumental in providing 1,080 guarantees amounting to over 602 million soms to support the development of women entrepreneurship, according to a report from the fund’s press service.
These guarantees have opened up opportunities for businesswomen to access loans totaling more than 1,419 billion soms this year alone.
In its entire period of operation, the Guarantee Fund JSC has offered 2,121 guarantees for 1,962 billion soms, enabling the growth of women entrepreneurship. This has resulted in bank loans worth a staggering 5,865 billion soms being availed by female entrepreneurs.
The fund’s statement highlights the diverse range of industries represented by women who have utilized the services of the Guarantee Fund JSC. Women entrepreneurs from all regions of the country, including export-oriented and import-substituting industries such as garment production, agricultural processing, and various others, have benefited from their support.
The Guarantee Fund continues to play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering women entrepreneurs by providing them with financial support and ensuring their access to loans. Their efforts have not only fostered economic growth but have also facilitated entrepreneurship in various sectors in the Kyrgyz Republic.
