Guns and Ammunition Found Hidden in Saw Machine: Latest News from Turkey
The Kars Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch has recently made progress in their fight against gun smuggling. A successful operation led to the seizure of a Kalashnikov brand long-barreled gun, two unlicensed hunting rifles, 4 magazines, and 100 cartridges from a blasting machine in the city center and the village of Gelenli.
During the operation, two suspects were detained by the police. Following processing at the police station, one of the suspects was arrested by the judgeship, while the other was released on condition of judicial control.
This recent operation highlights the dedication of the Kars Police Department in cracking down on illegal gun smuggling activities. With ongoing efforts, the department aims to ensure the safety and security of the community by preventing such criminal activities from taking place.
