Hakan Bayrakçı’s Polling Predictions: Who Will Turkish Voters Choose as Their Leader and Party?

Hakan Bayrakçı, a well-known pollster in Turkey, recently made a statement regarding the upcoming elections. According to him, there was a concentration in support for two political parties, the AK Party and CHP, among voters. The AK Party is expected to receive below or above 40 percent of the vote, while the CHP is expected to receive slightly above 30 percent. He also noted that the MHP will receive more votes than expected, and the Re-Prosperity party may receive up to 2 percent of the total votes.

Bayrakçı also mentioned that there has been some criticism of the DSP, but they are expected to receive around 400-500 thousand votes, which corresponds to 1 percent of the total number of votes. He also added that the People’s Alliance, of which the AK Party is a member, has made peace with the DSP.

Regarding the Nation Alliance, Bayrakçı noted that there has been an increase in support for the CHP due to the candidacy of Kılıçdaroğlu. The DEVA party is expected to receive 1 percent of the vote, while Future has a lesser contribution. The IYI Party, which had a good start, is expected to maintain its strength in its own measure.

Bayrakçı noted that these are the current trends according to SONAR, but numbers can fluctuate up and down by 1-1.5 points. He also mentioned that there is a rule in statistics that states that less numbers have less impact, while more numbers have a greater impact. Recently, the survey was conducted in 42 provinces in Turkey.

These predictions will undoubtedly impact the election strategies of each party and their candidates as they gear up for the upcoming elections. As always, it is up to the voters to decide who they will support and who will emerge victorious.
