Hamza Dağ Discusses His Plans for Izmir

Hamza Dağ, the AK Party Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate, recently met with a group of architects and engineers to share his ambitious projects for the city. Dağ emphasized his commitment to Izmir by stating, “I am putting forward my body, not my hand, for Izmir and I promise you. I will be the biggest supporter of everyone who works hard for our city.”
One of Dağ’s key projects is the new ring road, which aims to significantly reduce traffic time between Menemen – Bayraklı to 10 minutes and between Menemen – Buca to 20 minutes. In addition, Dağ addressed the issue of the Izmir suburban system, İZBAN, announcing a new regulation that will see parts of the system go underground in order to better connect the city.
Furthermore, Dağ discussed the expansion of natural gas in the city and urban transformation works as part of his development plans. He revealed that natural gas currently covers 69 percent of the entire city and pledged to produce 50 thousand social housing units, a much-needed initiative as no social housing has been built in Izmir for the past 25 years.
Dağ’s vision and dedication to improving Izmir’s infrastructure and living conditions have garnered significant attention and support from the public. His innovative projects aim to enhance the city’s transportation network, urban landscape, and overall quality of life for its residents. Izmirites are eagerly anticipating the positive changes that Dağ promises to bring to their beloved city.
