Turkmenistan’s State Commodity Exchange Sells Urea, Polypropylene, Silk, and Carpets
The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan had a successful day on Monday, December 4, with the sale of carbamide, polypropylene, raw silk, and handmade Turkmen carpets. The foreign market saw entrepreneurs from Ukraine, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates finalizing deals with the State Concern Turkmenhimiya for the purchase of urea grade “B”.
Representatives from Pakistan also made a deal with Turkmen entrepreneurs for the purchase of raw silk. Additionally, Turkmen businessmen signed a deal with the State Concern Turkmennebit for the purchase of polypropylene of the TPP D 30 S brand and a handmade Turkmen carpet.
In total, 8 deals were concluded during the auction, amounting to 2,415,334.40 manats and $5,950,000. This successful day follows a week in which 27 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, totaling 18 million 857 thousand 180 US dollars.
It is clear that the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan continues to play a crucial role in facilitating trade and commerce, both domestically and internationally.
