Harmony and Faith in Every Utterance
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium recently organized a cultural initiative in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust in 2025 and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about Turkmenistan’s peaceful foreign policy and promote the values of peace, trust, and neutrality.
Participants from Europe, including residents of Rotterdam, were invited to take part in the challenge by expressing their respect for these ideals. They read inspiring quotes and appeals in Turkmen, English, and Dutch, emphasizing the importance of peaceful coexistence, international trust, and mutual understanding.
One of the most notable aspects of the initiative was the active participation of European youth, who embraced the ideas of peace and cooperation. This illustrates the potential of the initiative to cultivate a new generation of peace advocates on the international stage.
The initiative received support from Derya Soysal, a member of the Belgian Diplomatic World Institute and an independent environmental expert. The embassy plans to continue promoting Turkmenistan’s culture and commitment to peace through future events such as cultural exhibitions and educational seminars.
This initiative serves as a testament to the power of cultural diplomacy in advancing Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality and upholding the values of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
