Bishkek – 15:37, 27 December 2024 – The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan recently released a report highlighting the progress made in 2024 under the leadership of Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.

According to the report, the annual budget of the ministry has seen a significant increase over the years, with it reaching 43 billion soms in 2024 compared to 22 billion soms in 2020. It is expected that at least 46 billion soms will be allocated from the republican budget in 2025.

Minister Beishenaliev expressed his optimism about the future, stating, “This means that we will update the technical base of hospitals. In 2024, we are building 25 medical institutions at the expense of the ministry’s budget. We have achieved milestones such as performing kidney, liver, and bone marrow transplants for the first time, as well as cochlear implantation. Heart transplant operations will also be conducted in the near future.”

Another significant achievement highlighted in the report is the establishment of the Kyrgyzfarmatsiya state enterprise on the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov. This state enterprise has been instrumental in delivering medicines to 290 hospitals at affordable prices and has expanded the number of El Aman state pharmacies to 100, offering more than 2,500 types of medicines at prices 20-30 percent lower than private clinics.

In his concluding remarks, Minister Beishenaliev extended his congratulations to the people of Kyrgyzstan on the upcoming New Year and wished them good health. The progress made in the field of healthcare in 2024 reflects the government’s commitment to improving the well-being of its citizens.
