Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek Ensures Continued Hematology Treatments Amidst Allegations
Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek has addressed recent allegations regarding the hematology service, assuring the public that treatments are being maintained without interruption. In a recent visit to the Hematology Service, Minister Dinçyürek clarified misinformation that had been circulating in the press and on social media.
Refuting claims that patients were being left unattended or not receiving necessary treatments, Minister Dinçyürek emphasized that examinations and treatments are being carried out regularly. He also highlighted the dedication of Hematology Specialist Dilek Yazman, stating that she is fully committed to her duties.
Speaking about the need for more hematologists, Dinçyürek revealed that efforts are being made to address the shortage of specialists. In the meantime, expert hematologists from Turkey are providing weekly support to ensure that patients receive the care they need. Plans are also underway to train new specialists in the field in the long run.
Addressing concerns raised on social media, the hospital management has launched an investigation into the allegations surrounding Dr. Yazman’s retirement and the care of patients. Dr. Yazman, on the other hand, clarified that she remains on duty and is dedicated to serving her patients.
Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Nurel Çiçek assured the public that polyclinic services are continuing seamlessly in the absence of Dr. Yazman. He stated that patient care has not been compromised, with treatments such as blood transfusions and chemotherapy being carried out without interruption.
Minister Dinçyürek reiterated the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services and ensuring that all patient needs are met. He emphasized that healthcare services are being managed efficiently and in accordance with established laws and regulations.
