High school student arrested for making terrorist propaganda
A 16-year-old high school student in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, has been detained by gendarmerie for allegedly making terrorist propaganda for the PKK on her social media account. The student, identified as BY, was found to be promoting the terrorist organization through her online posts.
The Çerkezköy District Gendarmerie Command took action after discovering BY’s activities and launched an investigation with the support of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Today, the student was taken into custody by the authorities.
In response to the situation, the Çerkezköy District Governorship has announced that both judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated against BY. The investigation surrounding the detained high school student is still ongoing as authorities work to gather more information about the case.
