“Hülya Avşar Tennis Cup” to be held – BRTK
The Tennis Federation President has announced an upcoming event called the “Hülya Avşar Cup”. The event, which will have a total prize of 20 thousand dollars, is expected to take place in either the capital city of Nicosia or in Kyrenia in May. Athletes from various countries including Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Kosovo, Southern Cyprus, and Turkey are expected to attend the week-long tournament.
In addition to this, President Hasan Gazioğlu also mentioned a sponsorship negotiation of 35 thousand Euros. He expressed hope that if the negotiations are successful, elite and successful athletes in various sports including tennis would benefit from the agreement.
