Illegal Land Ownership Uncovered in Talas Region
In a recent report by the prosecution authorities of Talas region, illegal ownership of land plots by individuals has been detected. According to the press service of the supervisory agency, inspections carried out by district prosecutor’s offices revealed the misappropriation of land plots totaling 9.4 hectares in Cholponbaev aiyl okmotu of Aitmatovsky district and a 300 square meter land plot in Aknazarov aiyl okmotu of Bakai-Ata district. The total value of these land plots is estimated to be 10,893 million soms.
As a result of these findings, the land plots have been returned to the state. A pre-investigation check is currently underway to legally assess the actions of the relevant officials involved in the illegal ownership of these land plots.
