The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) has confirmed this illegal activity.

According to the SCNS, the gold ore was transported using fictitious documents to the Kara-Balta Mining Combine with the intention of selling it illegally. As a result, a criminal case has been initiated and three citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic have been detained in connection with this crime. Following their confession, two of the detainees have been placed in the pre-trial detention center of the SCNS by the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court.

Investigative and operational activities are currently underway to identify any other individuals involved in this illegal mining operation. The authorities are working diligently to uncover the full extent of this crime and bring all those responsible to justice.
