
Illegal Villa in Vaniköy Set for Demolition – Latest Update

The Istanbul Provincial Directorate teams have taken action to stop the illegal construction of a villa within the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). In a post shared on the ministry’s social media account, it was announced that the unauthorized structures in the Bosphorus Forecast Area in Vaniköy, Üsküdar, have been sealed by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.
The post highlighted that certain unauthorized construction activities were conducted within the authority area of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Bosphorus Zoning Directorate, leading to the sealing of unlicensed structures by the ministry. Demolition activities concerning the illegal structures and annexes in the detected area will be carried out today under the coordination of the ministry’s Provincial Directorate teams.
