The purposes of visits by foreign citizens to Uzbekistan in January 2025 varied, with the majority of visitors coming to visit relatives. A total of 461,277 people visited Uzbekistan for this reason. Business trips also accounted for a significant portion of visits, with 88,336 people traveling for this purpose. Additionally, 75,392 people visited Uzbekistan for tourism, highlighting the country’s growing popularity as a tourist destination.
Trade and commerce brought 41,196 foreign citizens to Uzbekistan in January 2025, while medical treatment attracted 8,966 visitors. Education-related visits were less common, with 3,508 people coming to Uzbekistan for educational purposes.
