Cost of Vacation on Issyk-Kul Lake Expected to Rise in 2024

The cost of vacation on Issyk-Kul lake is expected to increase in 2024, according to the head of the Tourism Development Support Fund, Kudret Taychabarov, in an interview with 24.kg news agency.
Taychabarov mentioned that prices are projected to rise by 20-30 percent due to high demand among vacationers. He also noted that compared to Russia and Kazakhstan, the cost in Kyrgyzstan is slightly lower, similar to Turkey, with good service offerings.
In 2023, the budget of Kyrgyzstan received 2,622,083 billion soms in tax revenues from tourism. On average, one foreign tourist spends $100-200 per day, and $700-1,000 per week in the Kyrgyz Republic.
As the cost of vacation on Issyk-Kul lake is set to increase, tourists planning a trip to this beautiful destination should budget accordingly for the expected price hike in 2024.
