Independence Day Festivities to Take Place in Jalal-Abad
Bishkek – January 24, 2025 – The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, recently visited the Jalal-Abad region to discuss development issues. During the meeting, it was announced that all major celebrations for the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held in Jalal-Abad this year.
Following the President’s instructions, Independence Day on August 31 will be celebrated in the Jalal-Abad region. Discussions were held on the preparation for the festive events, and a draft concept of the program was presented.
More than 30 enterprises, social, and infrastructure facilities are set to be opened in the region this year. State and local authorities have been directed to ensure the smooth organization of the Independence Day celebration and to assist both domestic and foreign investors with their projects.
Adylbek Kasymaliev also inspected the progress of construction of residential complexes in Jalal-Abad, which are being implemented by the State Mortgage Company. Apartments will be provided to participants of the Menin Uyum state housing program through various mortgage schemes.
