Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan Meets with Delegation Attending India-Central Asia Youth Forum
The Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan, Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat, recently met with members of the Turkmenistan delegation who visited India to participate in the India-Central Asia youth forum. The forum, which took place from March 4 to March 14, 2024, aimed to deepen cultural ties and develop future leaders committed to promoting peace and understanding.
During their visit, participants from various sectors such as education, culture, and media had the opportunity to experience the vibrant rhythm of Indian life. They also learned about the rich traditions and culture of the country, sampled national dishes, and visited cultural sites. Additionally, they had the chance to meet with heads and representatives of various institutions in India, including the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
In her address to the delegation members, Ambassador Bhagat expressed hope for the continued improvement of India’s relations with countries in the region, including Turkmenistan, especially in the field of youth policy.
Overall, the participation in the India-Central Asia youth forum was a valuable experience that not only fostered cross-cultural exchange but also strengthened the bonds of friendship between India and Turkmenistan.
