Kyrgyz Military Pilot Returns Home After Treatment Following Helicopter Crash in Turkey

Upon his return, the pilot will continue to undergo rehabilitation for full recovery. The Ministry also mentioned that the health of the other injured citizens is improving, and they will be discharged soon. Both the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya and fellow compatriots in Adana have been providing assistance to the injured individuals.

The helicopter crash, which occurred on January 17, resulted in the death of one serviceman and left 10 others injured. The incident involved a Mi-8MTV helicopter of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Military Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The Kyrgyz authorities are working to ensure the well-being of those affected by the tragic incident and are committed to providing support for their recovery process.
