A team of students from the AUCA Innovation College in Bishkek, known as Valoa, has successfully developed a remote identification system within a mobile banking application aimed at assisting visually impaired individuals. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan reported this significant achievement.
The developed system utilizes advanced face and voice recognition technologies, enabling clients to be identified remotely without the need for an in-person visit to a bank branch. Following an independent vote, the Valoa team emerged as the winners of the final round of a student competition focused on social and commercial projects.
