Turkmen Scientist Receives Patents for Innovations in Agriculture
Turkmen scientists are making strides in the field of agriculture by focusing on innovative methods to enhance crop productivity and effectiveness of fertilizers. Microbiologist Khudaiberdi Muhammedov is one of the leading scientists in this area, having recently received two patents for his scientific inventions in agricultural production within the soil and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan.
The first patent, titled “Combined method of treating soil and agricultural crops with environmental additives,” aims to develop a method for maintaining, restoring, and enhancing soil fertility. The bioadditive developed as a result of this patent has shown promising results in enhancing soil fertility and improving crop yield compared to traditional cultivation methods. In addition, it has also been found to conserve water and increase the mechanical and chemical composition of the soil.
The study was conducted in collaboration with UIET member Evgeniy Barabashov on land plots in Geoktepe, as well as on cotton fields in the Ahal region and within vineyards. The results have shown significant improvements in crop yield and quality, particularly in wheat production with increased grain density and improved flour gluten.
The second patent, titled “Biological additive in poultry feed to increase productivity and resistance to infectious diseases,” is aimed at the poultry industry. This environmentally friendly product has shown to help poultry effectively cope with stress, gastrointestinal diseases, and increase their overall resistance to other infectious diseases.
These scientific innovations are a testament to the commitment of Turkmen scientists in advancing the country’s agricultural sector. With a focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, these patents hold promise for the future of agriculture in Turkmenistan.
