In addition, 4,782 individuals with visual impairments in Group I received housing and utility compensation payments of 192,600 UZS each, with a total of 931.8 million UZS allocated for these categories in March.

For children under 18 with disabilities, 171,380 beneficiaries received 920,000 UZS each, totaling 163.6 billion UZS in payments for the month. Furthermore, 75,390 caregivers of children under 18 with disabilities received 745,000 UZS each, amounting to 57.6 billion UZS in payments.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance had previously shared preliminary data on Uzbekistan’s 2024 state budget execution. The Pension Fund generated 47.1 trillion UZS in revenue from taxes and contributions, with an additional 16.3 trillion UZS transferred from the state budget to cover pension payments. This brought total revenues to 63.4 trillion UZS against 64 trillion UZS in expenditures. If the expenditures of state-managed funds exceed revenues, the deficit is covered by the state budget.
