Internal Affairs Ministry Foils Attempt to Evade Justice
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan recently made a significant arrest, putting an end to an attempt to evade justice. The Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration successfully detained a 53-year-old man in Bishkek who was wanted internationally for a serious crime. It was revealed that the wanted individual had been hiding within the borders of the Kyrgyz Republic in an effort to escape facing the consequences of his actions.
Through diligent operational and investigative work, the officers of the service were able to locate and apprehend the fugitive. Plans are now in motion for his extradition to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.
