An investigation was initiated against Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation against Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, following claims made by the CHP regarding the appointment of a trustee.
Minister Tunç shared on social media that the investigation was launched in response to claims made by some CHP delegates during the 38th Ordinary Congress. The investigation is in accordance with Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code.
According to a statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı allegedly made remarks on social media about the cancellation of the upcoming CHP Congress and the appointment of a temporary trustee. The statement also mentioned rumors of potential operations against two municipalities in Ankara.
The Presidential Communication Presidency Disinformation Center (DMM) also addressed the issue, warning against misinformation spread on social media. They emphasized the importance of relying on verified information and not falling for manipulation.
Communication President Fahrettin Altun emphasized the need to prevent information pollution and stated that those who spread inaccurate information will face the sanctions outlined in the law.
