CNN Türk News Manager Nihat Uludağ uncovered some shocking details regarding a terrorist investigation involving a suspect named Azad Barış. According to the documents obtained, Azad Barış had communication and contact with 312 different people with terrorist records. The investigation revealed that on 04.12.2021, Azad Barış contacted the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), Ekrem İmamoğlu, twice. Furthermore, between 01.12.2023-31.03.2024, there were 36 communication records and 171 units shared between Azad Barış and Ekrem İmamoğlu.
In addition, Azad Barış also had contact with Murat Ongun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İBB Media Inc., twice on 25.05.2021. The investigation discovered 20 common base records between Azad Barış and Murat Ongun between 01.12.2023-31.03.2024.
