Iran and US to Hold Second Round of Negotiations in Oman
Iran and the United States are set to continue their negotiations after a positive and constructive first round of talks in Oman. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismail Bekayi, announced that the second round of negotiations will take place in Maskat on Saturday, April 20.
The negotiation process between Iran and the United States has been ongoing since US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from the nuclear agreement in 2018. President Trump recently sent a letter to Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, which led to indirect talks between the two countries in Oman on April 12.
