Iran Vows to Stand Firm Against U.S. Sanctions Pressure

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Condemns New US Sanctions as Economic Terrorism
In a strong response to the recent sanctions imposed by the United States, Esmail Baghaei, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Iran, emphasized that Tehran will resist Washington’s economic pressure. These sanctions target individuals and entities in Iran along with several other nations accused of collaborating with Iran in various economic sectors.
Baghaei condemned the sanctions, asserting that they reflect Washington’s intentions to disrupt “friendly and legitimate relations” among developing countries through what he referred to as “economic terrorism.” He highlighted that these restrictive measures are not merely unilateral actions but are part of a broader strategy aimed at undermining economic cooperation in the region.
The impact of such sanctions on diplomatic and trade relations between Iran and other developing countries remains a focal point of concern, as Iran positions itself to counteract these pressures from the US.
