Iranian Trade Delegation Visits Uzbekistan for Bilateral Meetings and Business Forum
A delegation of business representatives from Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province, headed by Governor Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, arrived in Uzbekistan today for a business mission organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran. The mission, running until March 1, includes executives from leading companies in various sectors such as construction, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, textiles, agriculture, and food production.
During the visit, Governor Mozaffari is set to have bilateral meetings with the governors of Samarkand and Bukhara provinces. Additionally, a business forum will be conducted with the participation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry leadership and representatives from prominent companies.
Razavi Khorasan Province, situated in northeastern Iran, is home to Mashhad, the country’s second-most populous city and a significant religious and economic center. The province shares a border with Turkmenistan, serving as a crucial gateway for trade and cultural interactions between Iran and Central Asia. This visit aims to strengthen business ties and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two regions.
