Irrigation Pipe Arson Reveals Extensive Damage
A mysterious fire incident occurred in the Taşlıca District of the Kızıltepe district during the night, causing significant damage to the property of Bedrettin Karaboğa. It is believed that an unidentified individual or group intentionally set fire to the irrigation pipes and equipment stacked on Karaboğa’s land.
Witnesses who spotted the flames immediately alerted the fire brigade and gendarmerie. The fire quickly spread, but thanks to the swift intervention of the fire brigade, it was extinguished before causing further damage. Unfortunately, the irrigation pipes were rendered unusable due to the fire, prompting the fire brigades to carry out cooling efforts and the gendarmerie to conduct a thorough investigation.
Karaboğa expressed his dismay at the incident, estimating the damage to be over 5 million TL. The authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the perpetrators behind this destructive act. As of now, the investigation is ongoing to bring those responsible to justice.
