İskele Hosts Justice Watch Event
The community gathered at Iskele Lokum Circle to participate in a Justice Watch event in support of the ongoing Isias Hotel case. The event, organized by the Iskele District Governorship and Iskele Municipality, had representatives from various political parties, institutions, organizations, associations, and local residents. Participants carried torches and banners with the message “Justice will come with possible intent”.
During the event, photos of the Champion Angels who tragically lost their lives in the February 6 earthquake were displayed at the İskele Turkish Delights Circle. Iskele District Governor Ertuğrul Toroslu emphasized the importance of justice being served through the trial and conviction of the defendants with possible intent.
CTP Iskele Deputy Fide Kürşat Adıyaman also expressed her hope that the defendants would receive the harshest punishment following the two-day trial. She stated that while the pain may not completely fade, a sense of relief can be found in knowing that justice has been served. The community remains steadfast in their pursuit of justice and support for the victims and their families.
