The Israeli army recently made a statement regarding a ballistic missile that was reportedly launched from Yemen but was intercepted before reaching the country’s borders.
According to the statement, sirens were activated in illegal settlements in central parts of Israel, Jerusalem, and the occupied West Bank as a result of the ballistic missile threat.
The Israeli Emergency Aid Service, Magen David Adom (Red David Star), reported that there were no casualties or injuries resulting from the missile launched from Yemen.
Channel 12 television also reported that Ben Gurion Airport experienced some temporary disruptions due to the attack.
This incident marks the fourth time that the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have targeted Israel, following the recent ceasefire violations in Gaza.
The Israeli military continues to monitor the situation closely and take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of its citizens in the face of ongoing threats from the region.
