Istanbul District Election Boards Receive Early Voting Ballots
The votes for the Presidential election held in Turkey have been counted and the results have started to come in from all 81 provinces. The voting process ended in all 973 districts at 5:00 PM. The counting process has now begun and the first results are starting to come in.
In Üsküdar, the votes were brought to the gym of Üsküdar District Election Board’s Bağlarbaşı Marketing and Retail Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The votes cast in Şişli and Essen were brought to the district election boards.
The eyes of all of Turkey are on the results of this election, which will determine the country’s future direction. The candidates for the Presidency are President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, and Meral Akşener. The results will determine who will lead Turkey over the next five years.
The counting process is expected to take some time, and the final results are not expected to be announced for several days. Until then, the people of Turkey will be anxiously waiting to see who will emerge as the winner of this critical election.
