IYI Party Leaders to Evaluate Election Results
The IYI Party has gathered to evaluate the results of the recent election. The presiding council convened before the 6 table meeting to discuss the details. According to CNN TÜRK Correspondent Melike Görür, Meral Akşener, the leader of the IYI party, did not speak after election night. She is the only one among the leaders at the 6-table who did not make any statement.
After the party council meeting, Akşener is expected to attend the 6-party table meeting to be held at the CHP Headquarters. The IYI party’s opinion will be conveyed by Akşener at the meeting. The agenda of the 6-table will be the election evaluation and the next steps to be taken.
It is expected that the roadmap will not be determined by the IYI Party, and the roadmap will be left to the CHP, since Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is a candidate. Furthermore, Adnan Beker, who was elected as a deputy from the IYI Party, made striking confessions about the election held on 14 May. In evaluating the election results, Beker said, “Our citizens did not turn to an alliance with HDP-Kandil relations.”
