Azerbaijan Explores OSCE Cooperation for Post-Conflict Restoration
Azerbaijan is considering collaboration with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to aid in the restoration of territories recently liberated from occupation. This statement was made by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, during a joint press conference with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.
Minister Bayramov emphasized the challenges of fostering cooperation in regions where security is compromised. "The OSCE is a vital European security and cooperation organization, and building partnerships is difficult in the absence of stability," he remarked.
He underscored the OSCE’s unique capability to unite nations with diverse perspectives under a unified dialogue platform. "In light of the current climate of mutual distrust and active military conflicts, it is essential for diplomacy to establish frameworks for dialogue and maintain them. No conflict lasts indefinitely, and sustainable platforms are crucial in preventing future disputes and addressing unresolved issues," Bayramov stated.
This initiative reflects Azerbaijan’s commitment to stability and cooperation in the region, aiming for long-term solutions and peace-building efforts.
