Biden to Pressure Israel on Allowing Humanitarian Aid into Gaza During Netanyahu Meeting
US President Joe Biden is expected to put pressure on Israel to allow critical humanitarian aid to enter Gaza when he meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Furthermore, it was revealed that President Biden plans to have phone conversations with Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas and Egyptian President Abdulfettah al-Sisi on his way back from Israel.
In a surprising turn of events, Biden’s scheduled visit to Jordan after his trip to Tel Aviv has been canceled. The quadripartite summit, which would have included Biden, was called off by joint decision due to the three days of mourning declared in Palestine following the attack on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza.
