Mongolian Joint Stock Companies to Distribute 480.24 Billion MNT Dividends to Shareholders
The Mongolian Financial Regulatory Commission has announced that a total of 35 joint stock companies will be distributing 480.24 billion MNT in dividends to their shareholders this year.
According to Clause 46.5 of the Company Law, the Board of Directors of a joint stock company must decide whether to distribute dividends within 50 days of the end of the financial year and inform their decision to the Financial Regulatory Commission. The deadline for this decision was February 20, 2024, and out of the 61 joint stock companies, 35 have chosen to distribute dividends.
It is worth noting that in 2019, joint stock companies distributed 112.1 billion MNT in dividends, followed by 132.7 billion in 2020, 110.5 billion in 2021, 150.8 billion in 2022, and 303.07 billion in 2023.
The Financial Regulatory Commission is diligently monitoring the dividend distribution process to ensure compliance with regulations.
