A recent survey conducted by Toluna Harris Interactive for RTL channel has revealed that Jordan Bardella, the leader of France’s far-right National Rally Party, is the frontrunner in the upcoming presidential election. The survey indicates that if Bardella becomes the National Rally’s candidate in the 2027 election, he is expected to receive support from 35-36% of French voters in the first round.
Following closely behind Bardella is former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, who has garnered 23-25% of voter support. Far-left politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon ranks third with 13% of the votes.
The current leader of the National Rally, Marine Le Pen, is unable to participate in the next presidential election as she has been prohibited from running for office for five years due to legal constraints.
