
Judge at Aravan District Court Accused of Office Forgery

Bishkek – 24.kg news agency reported on February 14, 2025, that the Council of Judges has made a decision to hold a judge from the Aravan District Court of Osh region accountable for criminal actions. The judge, identified as J.N.B., has been charged with abuse of office, forgery in office, and delivering an unjust sentence or other judicial act.
Following the reports and discussions from the disciplinary commission, the Council of Judges agreed to the recommendation put forth by the Prosecutor General. It was decided to temporarily remove judge J.N.B. from the Aravan District Court, with a proposal sent to the President for approval.
Additionally, the Council of Judges sent a recommendation to the President for the termination of the judicial powers of judges from the Karakol City Court and Issyk-Kul District Court, as their terms expired on February 5, 2025. They also considered and approved the application of Aitbaeva Indira Mukashevna for retired judge status.
This decision by the Council of Judges highlights the importance of upholding integrity and accountability within the judicial system, ensuring fair and just outcomes for all involved parties.
