Kamchi Kolbaev’s 21.3 Million Soms Plot in Cholpon-Ata Returned to State Ownership
State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Returns Land to State Ownership from Organized Crime Group
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) has successfully returned a 1-hectare territory of the Cholpon-Ata passenger motor transport enterprise to state ownership. This land previously belonged to the organized crime group of Kamchi Kolbaev, as reported by the state committee.
According to the SCNS, efforts are ongoing to confiscate real estate assets belonging to the organized crime group of Kamchi Asanbek, also known as crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev. It was discovered that in 2023, Kamchi Asanbek acquired the territory of the Cholpon-Ata passenger motor transport enterprise to legalize illegal income. The land plot is estimated to be worth 21,315 million soms.
The territory has now been transferred to the State Property Management Agency, with continued efforts to detect and return other movable and immovable properties of the organized criminal group of Kamchi Asanbek to the state.
This successful operation demonstrates the commitment of the SCNS to combatting organized crime and returning unlawfully acquired assets to the rightful ownership of the state. Further actions are expected to be taken in the ongoing investigation into the activities of Kamchi Asanbek and his criminal group.
