Bishkek Court Releases Rustam Turdiev on His Own Recognizance
Today, Kamchi Kolbaev’s co-father-in-law, Rustam Turdiev, was released on his own recognizance by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek. The decision came after the court granted the request of the investigator of the Investigative Committee of the State Committee for National Security to change the preventive measure.
The court announced that the previously applied preventive measure of detention has been changed to a written undertaking not to leave the city. Rustam Turdiev had been detained in October of last year and was charged with the creation of an organized group or participation in it under article 261 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This development comes as a significant shift in the case, and all eyes will be on the court proceedings as the story continues to unfold.
