Kamchi Kolbaev’s Partner Receives 7-Year Sentence and Placed on Wanted List

Bishkek Court Sentences Common-Law Wife of Murdered Crime Boss to Eight Years in Prison

In a recent development, the Oktyabrsky District Court in Bishkek has sentenced Nuriya Tenteshova, the common-law wife of the murdered crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev, to eight years in prison. As reported by the Bishkek City Court, Tenteshova was found guilty of money laundering on a large scale, leading to the confiscation of five units of property and a two-year ban on engaging in entrepreneurial activities.

Following her arrest, Tenteshova has been placed under detention in institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service, pending transfer to a proper correctional facility. The search for her was organized by the Department of the State Committee for National Security for Chui region.

Meanwhile, the lawyer representing the Kolbaev family clarified that Kamchi Kolbaev only had one official wife, Nuraiym Mambetalieva, who is now his widow. Mambetalieva was known to accompany Kolbaev to all events along with their children, making Tenteshova’s relationship with the crime boss questionable.

Additionally, the court also sentenced Kolbaev’s mother, Maya Alieva, to seven years in prison and confiscated 13 units of property, including the house where she resides.

These legal actions mark a significant step in addressing the criminal activities associated with the Kolbaev family and ensuring justice is served in the Kyrgyz Republic. The implications of this verdict are expected to have lasting effects on the criminal landscape in the region.
