Kamchi Kolbaev’s Two Cars Handed Over to Authorities

State Property Management Agency Hands Over Cars Belonging to Crime Boss to State Bodies
The State Property Management Agency of Kyrgyz Republic has handed over two cars that previously belonged to the notorious crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev, also known as Kamchybek Asanbek, to state bodies. The press service of the agency confirmed this information to the 24.kg news agency.
The cars in question are a 2019 Kia Rio X-Line, valued at 1.15 million soms, and a 2017 Mercedes-Benz S600, valued at 25.5 million soms. Both vehicles were transferred to the ownership of the state by the family of the deceased leader of the organized crime group. It was reported that the state made previous attempts to sell the cars, but the idea was ultimately abandoned.
The Kia Rio X-Line was handed over to the State Committee for National Security, while the Mercedes-Benz S600 was transferred to the Department of Presidential Affairs and the Cabinet of Ministers, according to the state agency.
Additionally, four more cars owned by Kamchi Kolbaev have been put up for auction for the third time.
This move by the State Property Management Agency marks a significant development in the efforts to reclaim and repurpose assets previously associated with criminal activities. The decision to transfer these vehicles to state bodies signals a commitment to putting ill-gotten gains to better use for the benefit of the public.
