Kyrgyz Football Union President meets with FIFA representatives
The President of the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU), Kamchybek Tashiev, recently had a meeting with FIFA representatives, Regional Technical Director Gaioz Darsadze and Efficiency Improvement Specialist Richard Allen. According to the KFU website, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss FIFA’s goals for the global development of football and explore ways in which FIFA can assist in the development of football in Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the FIFA representatives expressed their readiness to support Kyrgyzstan in improving its talent identification system. Richard Allen proposed various options for enhancing this system, while the KFU President shared plans to upgrade infrastructure and promote the growth of football clubs, academies, and national teams in the country. He also expressed gratitude to FIFA for its continuous support.
Gaioz Darsadze highlighted the importance of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme project and emphasized the need for its continuation in Kyrgyzstan. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement on the potential collaboration between the KFU and FIFA to further enhance the development of football in Kyrgyzstan.
