Victory Party’s Kayseri Provincial Chairman detained for social media posts
The Victory Party’s Kayseri Provincial Chairman, Hacı Ali Demirkaya, was detained by police teams at around 17:00 on the grounds of inciting people to ‘hatred and hostility’ with his social media posts. After his procedures at the Kayseri Provincial Police Department, Demirkaya was taken to Ankara by police teams. It was revealed that the detention was within the scope of an investigation carried out in Ankara.
Soon after his detention, Hacı Ali Demirkaya took to his social media accounts to announce the situation. He stated, “I am being taken to the police in accordance with the detention warrant issued against me. Our foreheads are white, our heads are high! Victory will be for those who believe and fight!”
