
Keleş Appointed as Ankara’s Ambassador to New York by BRTK

Mehmet Ali Keleş Appointed Attaché of Turkish Embassy in Northern Cyprus
Mehmet Ali Keleş has been appointed as the Attaché of the Turkish Embassy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The decision was published in the Official Gazette, stating that Keles will serve as the Embassy Training Attaché.
Prior to this appointment, Keles was working at the Ministry of National Education in the Primary Education Department of the Directorate of Martyr Menteş Zorba Primary School as a school principal. His new role as Attaché of the Turkish Embassy highlights his experience and qualifications in education and administration.
In addition to Keles’ appointment, Murat Soysal, the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, was appointed as the representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in New York. Soysal’s appointment will become effective on August 1st, marking a new chapter in his diplomatic career.
These appointments demonstrate the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s commitment to strengthen its diplomatic relations and representation abroad. Keles and Soysal will play important roles in promoting the interests of Northern Cyprus and furthering its diplomatic objectives on the international stage.
