Ferry Services Cancelled in Izmir Due to Severe Winds
Severe winds have disrupted ferry services in Izmir, Turkey. Izdeniz, the company responsible for ferry transportation in the city, announced that due to the strong winds affecting the Pier of Üçkuyular Karşıyaka-Üçkuyular, the Göztepe-Karantina-Karşıyaka line has been canceled.
The decision to cancel the ferry services was made at 16.50 hours as a safety measure to protect passengers and crew members. Additionally, ferry flights on the Üçkuyular-Bostanlı line were also canceled starting at 13.00 due to the adverse weather conditions.
Passengers are advised to check for updates on the ferry schedule and to make alternative travel arrangements until the services resume. Izdeniz has not provided any information on when the ferry services will be operational again.
