Kerman Province in Iran to Strengthen Cooperation with Uzbekistan Regions

Ambassador Fariddin Nasriyev of Uzbekistan recently held a meeting with the Governor of Kerman Province, Mohammad Mehdi Fedokor. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and explore opportunities for enhancing interregional cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran in various sectors such as trade, economics, investments, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
Both parties acknowledged the significant progress made in bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both nations. The Governor of Kerman Province praised the potential for expanding trade, economic, and investment partnerships, with the support of the respective Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Kerman and Uzbekistan, as well as the entrepreneurs from both regions.
The Iranian side expressed its eagerness to leverage the capabilities of the province in bolstering bilateral trade and economic relations. To further strengthen ties between the two countries, it was suggested to facilitate mutual visits of business representatives to each other’s regions and to organize joint art and cultural exhibitions.
The meeting between Ambassador Nasriyev and Governor Fedokor signifies the commitment of both Uzbekistan and Iran to foster closer ties and collaboration in various fields. It is a positive step towards deepening the partnership between the two nations and exploring new opportunities for cooperation and development.
