Key Discussions with MİT President Kalın in Baghdad
MİT President İbrahim Kalın Holds Critical Talks in Baghdad and Erbil
The Director of the National Intelligence Organization, İbrahim Kalın, recently conducted important meetings in both Baghdad and Erbil. Following his visit to Baghdad, Kalın met with various political figures in Erbil on January 28, 2023.
During his visit to Erbil, MİT President Kalın held meetings with KDP President Mesut Barzani, IKYY Prime Minister Mesrur Barzani, Minister of Internal Affairs Reber Ahmed, local administrators, as well as ITC President Hasan Turan and ITC Kirkuk Deputy Erşat Salih.
The discussions during these meetings primarily focused on developments in the region, bilateral relations, and the effective fight against PKK terrorism. It was emphasized to the interlocutors that Turkey remains resolute in its determination to combat terrorism.
