Famous Turkish Singer Kibariye Injured During Performance
Turkish singer Kibariye was injured during a concert in the Central Mediterranean district of Turgut Reis. The incident occurred when a fan rushed onto the stage to meet the singer, and Kibariye’s supposed bodyguard intervened, at which point the singer was struck and fell approximately two meters from the stage. Kibariye was then taken to a nearby private hospital before being transferred to Mersin City Hospital for further treatment.
Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca released a statement expressing his wishes for Kibariye’s speedy recovery. The statement read, “Our voice artist Kibariye was injured as a result of an unfortunate incident she experienced on stage. Her treatment continues at Mersin City Hospital. She is conscious. She will be kept under observation for a while and will be discharged. I offer her my best wishes: I hope you again with your voice and joy. We want to see you with us.”
