Kılıçdaroğlu Reveals List of Promises in Erzincan
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the presidential candidate for the Nation Alliance and Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), spoke at Erzincan Cumhuriyet Square on May 6th, 2023. Kılıçdaroğlu promised a bright future for all of Turkey and pledged a peaceful and harmonious political atmosphere. He promised to be a president for all 85 million citizens and not to discriminate against anyone because of their identity, beliefs, or lifestyle. Kılıçdaroğlu also promised to reopen defunct factories across Anatolia, bring peace and prosperity to the country, and provide better education and healthcare for rural areas. He criticized those who had privatized factories and sold them to foreign investors, leaving thousands of employees without jobs. Kılıçdaroğlu vowed to stop drug lords and the gangs of five, which he claimed infiltrated the government and held the country back. The presidential candidate also promised to provide financial assistance for retirees and farmers.
